Tell us about yourself and your research interests:
I’m pharmacist and I hold a MSc degree in Immunology. I am currently studying Genetic (MSc Programme) and I’m also a PhD student in Immunology at University Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD). My research mainly focus on breast and cervical cancers. I’m investigating the immuno-genetic determinants of our epidemiological specificities in Senegal (patients are younger and diagnosed in advanced stage with poor rate of survival despite therapeutic intervention), with aim to find new biomarkers.
